The Show:
This is the last of six nights at the famous Budokan venue in Tokyo in early February during the Into the Fire tour. After this show, the band took a 3 1/2 month break before some summer dates in Europe.

This is one of the longest stretches of shows in one city for BA at this point in his career and it really shows how loyal his Japanese fans have been over the years. Although Into the Fire did not "do" what Reckless did, the demand brought him here for six shows in '88. Even in 1994, he only played Budokan for 3 shows. They love him in Japan!!!

The Songs:
The encores include the first Walking After Midnight before it became a staple during the European dates in the summer of '88.

Sadly, due the the filmer shifting from one location in the venue to another only 20 minutes into the show, some of better songs are missed for the DVD.

The Recording:
The camera is upper deck, behind the stage starting behind BA's left shoulder then shifting 20 minutes into the show to a new location behind BA's right shoulder. Although nobody else other than BA is filmed (Keith comes into view now and then), you do pick up the energy coming off the audience and you can see what BA sees in the first few rows of floors.
