The Show:
This is from the second BA show of a huge weekend festival in Germany that BA performed back in 1996. One night in Nuburgring (Rock-Am-Ring) and the second night in Nurnberg (Rock-Im-Ring). The show is from the broadcast on German TV which is where the A+ audio source for this CD came from. Click here to read about the audio recording:

This show is the sixth show of the three month extensive European tour so although the songs are new to the large concert venue, the club shows the trio of BA, Mickey and Keith did in the winter have paid off. The band sounds great on both the new and old material.

The crowd is provided with many opportunities to sing-a-long with the band. When given the chance, their energy enhances the performance coming from the stage.

The Songs:
Nine songs out of the entire set were recorded for the video presentation of the show. The recorded is heavy on the ballads which is a good thing since the arrangements for the ballads have been modified more than the rockers to accomadate the trio of musicians on stage. Everything I Do... and Please Forgive Me are stripped down to their simplest state of guitar and vocal. Keith's acoustic guitar work is wonderful during Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman and I'm Ready.

The Recording:
Direct from the TV broadcast. One of the few professionally filmed videos in the 1990's. This is a solid recording for any fan looking for a 1999 show on video to view the newly-formed format of the band as a trio.
