Sample photo taken from the Newcastle DVD (note: this shot is of BA over on the side of the stage, but majority of filming is same vantage point as the Sheffield '04 and Oberhausen '05 recordings.:

The Show:
The first real "leg" of the Room Service tour started in October in the UK. The third show on the leg was in Newcastle in the middle part of England. THe incredible thing about touring in a densely populated area such as the UK is the minimal amount of travel between shows. The night before, the band played in Manchester which is only about 45 miles/73kms from Newcastle.

As usual in the UK, they eat BA up from start to finish and he delivers again in Newcastle.

Bonus tracks for this DVD feature two songs recorded from the front row of the Coventry, England show on September 23, 2005.

The Songs:
For the DVD of this performance, only about half the songs are captured on video. Highlights of the once captured has to be the new opening sequence of Room Service - Open Road and of course...Kids Wanna Rock. This is also one of the first shows in which All For Love is performed acoustically at the end of the night.

For the bonus tracks, the two newest songs just added to the set lists are All I Want Is You and Why Do You Have to Be So Hard to Love. How's that for recording the newest material?

The Recording:
All recordings are by Steven Stanley on his digital camera from the front row of each concert. Location for the performance is awesome and not a soul in the arena could be closer. As a huge fan, Steven knew when to focus on Keith, BA, the crowd etc....

All footage was filmed in .mov format which best viewed on small screen on your computer. When put onto DVD, especially when you watch it on a larger screen such as your televistion, the footage is "stretched" to fit your TVs. However...if you watch it on your computer and shrink the viewing screen, you will recapture the higher quality of the original format.
