The Show:
After years of talking about the desire to do one, Bryan finally records an MTV unplugged show in New York City. This video is the one that was viewed on MTV first on November 28, 1997 and later in December around the world on other music channels. Attended by about 400 contest winners and die-hard fans, this performance is nothing short of incredible in both content and performance. Bryan was nervous going on stage since A: he hates being on TV and B: it was an all or nothing performance that was going to end up on CD and global television. The regular band is there as are some new faces and an orchestra from the Juliard School of Music. This show is a must for any Adams collector.

The Songs:
13 songs are shown on the video, 13 end up on the CD and about 16 were performed at the concert. This is the first performance and recording of the brand new songs "Back to You", "When You Love Someone" and "A Little Love". It is also the first time the blues song "If You Wanna Be Bad - You Gotta Be Good" is performed live. Obviously, every song listed is arranged differently than the usual live versions with the exception of "I'll Always Be Right There" which is performed unplugged-style at all concerts. Songs that are most different are: "I'm Ready" and "18 Til I Die".

The Recording:
Perfect. Direct from TV.
