The Show: Similar to the Holzwichede, Germany DVD from just one month earlier, the Germany television program "Rockpalast" presents BA during his first extensive tour throughout Europe. Clearly, he has remained a major in artist in that country 20+ years down the road. The best part of this DVD is to see BA perform as an early phase in his career when he's almost 24 and trying to prove he's a legitimate live act. Although it comes off as he's trying too hard at times, it's clear that his energy level is huge and he works the wild crowd (perhaps encouraged by the fact that they are on TV???) into a decent frenzy. It's amazing to think that just 12 months after this show is when Reckless was released and 18 months after this show, he was one of the top rock artists in the world. The result, is that this DVD is one of the few that you can see BA when he really had something to prove. If you like the Holzwichede show, you'll probably want this one as a companion piece. The Songs: The opening number is Remember which leads into the usual opener for this tour - The Only One. Seeing BA really take advantage of his rock material between Take Me Back, Fits Ya Good and I'm Ready is pretty fun stuff. The non-released tracks Baby Wears Black and Jump close the show as they did for the bulk of the Autumn '83 shows. The Recording:
