The Show:
Wrapping up an eight show run along the west coast of the US, this show was at the beautiful Greek Theater located in Berkeley, California. Berkeley, home of the University of California, is known for liberal thinking left-wing activists who make noise when something is going on that they disagree with. If he were a university student, BA would fit in perfectly here. Berkeley is in the San Francisco bay area, just north of Oakland.

The outdoor venue itself was maybe half full for the double-bill featuring George Thorogood as the feature act followed by BA as the headliner. With virtually no record company support in the US this decade, and no new CD to promote, this crowd is mainly there for a good time, to hear the hits and enjoy the cool evening air.

The Songs:
BA sticks with the set list that was perforned just about every show during the west coast dates. It's a concise 90 minutes that is heavy on the hits. BA did make reference to the show the night before in which is was one of the coldest he's been involved with. It didn't help that the wardrobe department was unprepared for the threat of close-to-freezing temperatures while touring around California in October. BA did mention it was warmer up in Canada than it was in California.

The Recording:
This DVD is direct from the master video files. The recording itself is very well filmed from BA's left about half way up the seating bowl. Very steady camera work with no "black outs" or interuptions. Good mix up full band action, just BA or BA and Keith when needed. One of the better audience-filmed DVDs that I've seen.
